What did you like the most about the course?
It’s hard to say since I liked everything about the course. One part that stands out is being given the opportunity to practice pronouncing what I’ve learned. If my pronunciation is off, Misen will help me in the moment to pronounce words correctly.

Would you recommend this course to others?
would highly recommend this course to others. Misen is a kind and patient teacher. There is much to learn but there isn’t an expectation to rush through information. This class is an opportunity to study with likeminded learners.

What did you like the most about the course?
I really liked how much we got to actually speak every class session. Of course there was a LOT of just listening, learning vocabulary, and Hiragana, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much speaking we were able to do after only 8 session.

Would you recommend this course to others?
I would recommend this course to others, Misen Sensei is so supportive of her class, and congratulates everyone for trying, even if they are wrong. She is very good at taking student feedback to modify lessons and always willing to go back and review sections that students don’t understand. this course lays a great foundation for learning such a complicated language.

What did you like the most about the course?

The many teaching strategies and the opportunities to speak Japanese and have you help us with pronunciations. Also having the slides ahead of time was helpful to me.

Would you recommend this course to others?
I would recommend your courses. I think you are great teacher. If I had the choice I probably would have taken Japanese for Travelers. You covered many of the same topics, but perhaps the speed of presentation would have been a bit slower. There is much I will be reviewing in the next few weeks hoping more Japanese language will stick in my memory.

Your teaching style. — covering spoken and written language. The pace was good with a great deal of information included.

Yes, no matter their purpose. Any experience with other languages is an asset.

What did you like the most about the course?
Online streaming was better than I anticipated. I liked the class format; the teaching style; the personal attention; sharing of culture; being able to hear pronunciations and being able to be corrected and challenged in class to speak the language. Hearing the language spoken was good for my ears and brain.

Would you recommend this course to others?

Yes! A fun and enthusiastic instructor! Easy to learn from.
